To God be all the glory, it is time for another Children’s Retreat, thank God for all the Lord has been doing over the years in the lives of our children by reason of what they are impacted with at the retreats.

In this year 2018, we are getting ready for another retreat, since it only gets better with our God; we are believing Him for an unprecedented outpouring of His Power through His presence in Hebron.

We know that all hands are on deck physically but we also know that we have no power of our own, we need the Holy Spirit to help us (Teachers, Resource persons, Kitchen staff) empower us, Teach us, Direct us as to do it His own way so that we will not do it carnally but do it in line with the will of God so that we can achieve His purpose for them, since we are all just careers’ for Him.

PRAYER

• To prove that we are grateful for all the Lord has been doing in years past, we want to thank Him, for safety on sight, journey mercies to and fro, God made sure that we did not lose any of the children, none was sick........” I will extol and praise you, O Lord, for you have lifted me up. And have not let my enemies rejoice over me” (Psalms 30:1 AMP)

1st Samuel 2: 17-18(AMP) says” So the sin of the (two) young men (Hophni and Phinehas) was very great before the Lord, for the men treated the offering of the Lord disrespectfully. Now Samuel was ministering before the Lord, as a CHILD dressed in a LINEN EPHOD (a sacred item of Priestly clothing) we are going to take a couple of prayer points from the above verse. The character of Samuel was formed appropriately because he had a mother who had had an encounter with Calvary, it was by reason of this encounter she had that she made a vow to God in 1st Samuel 1:11.......then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life....... remember that was not her first time in Shiloh, but the encounter made the difference.

• Pray that all we as parents will let go and let God in the lives of our children, allow them to concentrate on what they are going to do at the retreat, commit them to their Owner and creator.

• In the above verse of the Bible, Samuel was always dressed in a linen ephod, when I researched, an ephod is priestly clothing that depicts HONOUR and DIGNITY, we are going to pray that God will endow them with Dignity and Honour that will set them apart from their peers.

• According to the verse above, Samuel stood out amongst the three young males in the house, it was not a coincidence, it was as a result of the hard work of a mother who had a compelling anointing to parent with Jesus, by reason of deciding not to be a traditional woman/ mother, and this could only be by reason of the ENCOUNTER with the Cross. Pray that our children will stand out in their schools, neighbourhood, community, local church after the retreat; they will not be unfortunate to have us as their parents.

• Pray that whatever will be a hindrance to a free flow of the word of God of God from teachers to the children be destroyed, the hearts of the children will be receptive to the Teachings and they will doers of the word as well, they are not too young Samuel was just 8years when he heard God.

• Pray that the Teachers and all resource persons on ground will be specially equipped by the Holy Spirit for this purpose; the Lord will overwhelm them with His Power, Wisdom and Presence, to do His will and nothing more or less.

• Our children will be for signs and wonders by reason of what will be imparted in them at the retreat, they will be equipped to be arrows that will go to the camp of the enemy to destroy every iota of darkness, none of them will come back the same. “ Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel, from the Lord of hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion”  ( Psalms 8:18)

• Lord Strengthen all volunteers, teachers etc both physically and spiritually, none of them would regret going to the retreat for any reason, the adversary will not attack their health, finances, family, jobs etc in Jesus name.
